Mark your calendars for the 2009 LAGCOE Open
on October 26th, 2009.
LAGCOE is to return to Lafayette in 2009, and kicking things off right will be the 3rd Annual LAGCOE Open Golf Tournament. The LAGCOE OPEN presented by LOGA will be held at Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, Louisiana on Monday October 26th, 2009. The Open will feature two tee times and a golfer/sponsor reception after each flight. With LAGCOE being the second largest petroleum industry event in the United States, this golf tournament will attract players from all sectors of the oil & gas industry. Make plans to join us at one of our two tee times to network with clients and colleagues while enjoying golf at its finest.
The 3rd Annual LAGCOE Open Golf Tournament will be a 4-man scramble-style tournament. Oakbourne is an 18-hole Bermuda grass course with water in play.
2008 Schedule of Events
· 7:00 a.m. - Morning Registration
· 7:30 a.m. - First Shotgun Start
· 12:30 p.m. - Afternoon Registration
· 1:15 p.m. - Second Shotgun Start
Attire
Proper attire is required on the golf course and in the clubhouse. Men must wear collared shirts. Jeans, coaches shorts, warm-ups and short-shorts are not permitted. Oakbourne is a soft-spike only facility.
Driving Directions to Oakbourne Country Club
From I-10, take I-49 going south. Turn left at Pinhook Road. Once you reach Simcoe Avenue, turn right. Drive all the way down Simcoe, the road will dead end into Oakbourne’s front gates.
Designed by Dick Wilson, this private facility is highlighted by tight fairways lined with oak and pine trees
